On-Site Drug and Alcohol Testing
“On-Site” is exactly what we mean. S1-Safety 1st will come to your location. Anytime, anywhere. Whether it’s a construction site, office building, shipping ports or anywhere else that you could think of. S1-Safety 1st will come to you and get the job done RIGHT.
What happens when S1 Safety 1st comes to perform on-site drug and alcohol testing?
They will collect a preliminary, instant drug screen (which only takes a few minutes). Any “non-negative” or “presumptive positive” samples are sent to our world renowned laboratories and our Medical Review Officer (MRO) will confirm the final results within 48 to 72 hours (depending on medications or other substances detected).
Why do on-site drug and alcohol testing?
- You save valuable time and money. No more costly visits to local clinics or time away from work.
- Your drug and alcohol testing program is now a VISUAL to your employees.
- Your employees will see your company as a ‘no non-sense’ Drug Free Workplace. Trust us when we say that your employees will recognize the drug testing vehicle approaching, every time.
- There’s no excuse why they can’t leave the site to perform a drug test. S1-Safety 1st is already on site. We can test right then and there.
- How do you get started? Give our office a call to make your appointment. We are certified to perform DOT, Non-Federal and NCAA urine collections.

We ONLY carry products that are CLIA Waived or Department of Transportation (DOT) approved
What is CLIA Waived?
All facilities in the United States that perform laboratory testing on human specimens for health assessment or the diagnosis, prevention or treatment of disease are regulated under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA). Waived tests include test systems cleared by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for home use and those tests approved for waiver under the CLIA criteria. Although CLIA requires that waived tests be simple and have a low risk for erroneous results, this does not mean that waived tests are completely error-proof. Errors can occur anywhere in the testing process, particularly when the manufacturer’s instructions are not followed and when the testing personnel are not familiar with all aspects of the testing systems.
